Prelude to a Kiss is a romantic comedic fantasy that tells the story of two soul mates, Peter and Rita. Their whirlwind romance takes a startling turn at Rita and Peter's wedding when an uninvited guest, an elderly gentleman, congratulates the bride with a kiss. This kiss carries a magic charge that alters the lives of all three characters. Peter faces the question – if we fall in love with what is on the inside, what happens when the packaging changes? If the soul is what we connect with does the body matter? Prelude to a Kiss explores the issue of love in a way that will encourage the audience to examine what the emotion means to them.
